Join the public awareness campaign – wave with us for the World Arthritis Day
Every year on World Arthritis Day, 12 October, people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs) from around the world join to make their voices heard. For 2012, EULAR invites you to raise your hands, as well as your voices and join our campaign to create awareness of the importance of physical activity for people with RMDs by sending us pictures and short videos of people waving their support – a small gesture with a big message. Everybody is of course also welcome to organise events and use our supersized picture of waving people to generate media attention. Send strong messages to policy makers and the public and raise awareness of issues affecting people with RMDs!
We already have images of an amazing over 26,000 people waving their support featured in the WAD website gallery, and all pictures of people waving received up until and including 12 October will be added into the total.
Super size picture Images received by Friday, 16 September will be included in a supersize picture being generated to promote World Arthritis Day campaigns which will be available for download from the website at the beginning of October!
